Leonard Rääf is a Swedish writer and director based in Copenhagen. He studied at the International Film School of Paris and focuses on emotional, narrative-driven filmmaking rooted in the human experience. His short film 'Renard Rouge' won Best Nordic Short at the Nordic International Film Festival in New York. In 2018, he co-founded Holocene Studios in Denmark following the success of 'Clay', shot in Iceland and selected at over 25 festivals worldwide. Leonard has written and directed five short films, with the latest set for release in 2025. He also directs international campaigns for brands like IKEA and McDonald’s, known for his cinematic approach to everyday life — a “perfectly undone” style.
